Donald R. Crow
President & Chief Executive Officer
Donald
Crow, chief executive officer of the Visiting Nurse Association of Florida,
joined the agency 1988 as chief financial officer. He served in that capacity,
was then promoted to administrator, and in 1998 was selected by the Board
of Directors as chief executive officer.
Under Crow’s leadership, the organization has grown from serving three
Florida east coast counties to serving patients in 16 counties throughout
Florida. –
Crow's experience includes banking, finance and home health consulting. He
earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University.
Crow is active in the Treasure Coast Executive Committee, which is a committee
of chief executive officers mutually sharing expertise, experience and talent
for the purpose of personal and professional growth. Crow’s main focus
is community based, non-profit home health care.
William Miller
Executive Vice President
Executive Vice President William Miller has been with the VNA since June 2003.
In his position, Miller is responsible for overseeing the operations in all
the VNA and VNA Plus offices throughout Florida.
With more than 18 years of health care experience including Hospice, home
health care and hospital settings, Miller has been an important addition to
VNA’s senior management team. Miller received his bachelor’s degree
in pharmacy at Ohio State University and has steadily built upon that foundation
as his career evolved into top-level healthcare management.
Patricia Crow
Founder & Board Member
Patricia Crow founded the Visiting Nurse Association in April 1976 after people
in the local community spoke about a need for a home health agency in the
area. Crow began the VNA in a 600-square foot office in downtown Stuart. Now,
the VNA is housed in a 30,000 square foot building located on Monterey Road
in Stuart.
Crow retired in 1998 after working at the VNA for 23 years. She currently
serves as a board member and works in the office twice a week.
